|VIGNERON GEORGE HEYDON’S COMMENTS:
Mid straw colour, bright.
The nose presents as intense and complex. The usual citrus aromas complemented by white stone fruit notes and nuances of lanolin, vanilla bean, and mealy cashew.
Lovely minerality and wet stone character.
The palate shows exceptional fullness of mouthfeel and stunning length.
Just entering best drinking window, but definitely no hurry!
The wine displays a magnificent bright golden colour.
A beautiful and gorgeous bouquet of white peach, citrus, melon and cashew is inviting to the nose. Complex aromas of ripe fruit, wet river stone and even hints of gunpowder extend further through the senses.
The palate also displays a profound complexity, intense and with a creamy mouthfeel. A lingering persistence completes an exceptionally elegant expression of quality Margaret River chardonnay.
The finest French oak is flawlessly integrated and balanced, in line with the winery extended bottle aging regime.
